HSBC MPF Outdoor Challenge is a one-day running event organised by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. Sportsoho Media Limited is appointed as Event Executor to manage the event.

The event aims at promoting the joy of running and delivering important messages of Default Investment Strategy and MPF through six obstacles. All enrolment fees from the event (without deduction of administration fee and event expenses) will be allocated to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in support of its social enterprises under the name of 'HSBC MPF Outdoor Challenge'. All are encouraged to enroll to join the running race while supporting good causes through the beneficiary of the event.

At the venue, there is a carnival area open for public from 8am to 6pm, with game booths, mini playgrounds, sports workshops and MPF information panels for all of you to learn MPF information in an interesting way and have a fun-filling weekend.

All enrolment fees from the event (without deduction of administration fee and event expenses) will be donated to Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in support of its social enterprises under the name of ‘HSBC MPF Outdoor Challenge’. Participants will not receive any donation receipt for tax deduction.
Participants can leave the belongings in the baggage storage area before proceeding to the start area.

Offline application by mail, email and fax is also allowed, please refer to registration details under ‘Race details’ section.

T-shirt size cannot be changed after registration and is available on a first-come, first-served basis during registration. The Organiser and Event Executor do not warrant any request in size.
Car park at the event venue will not be open to the public on the day of event. Participants are advised to get to the venue by public transportation.

  • MTR
    Around 5 minutes’ walk from MTR Hong Kong Station or 10 minutes’ walk from MTR Central Station.
  • Star Ferry
    Around 1 minute’s walk from Star Ferry pier in Central.
  • Car Park
    Public car parks are located in Hong Kong City Hall and Two International Financial Center (Two IFC).
Public liability insurance is covered by the Event Executor. Participants are advised to take up their own personal or other insurance policies separately. The Organiser and Event Executor suggest to the participants to do a body check before enrolment and consider their own health condition and the race distance before making any application. You may consult a doctor before taking part in the race, if necessary.
